A free guide
Step out, slow down, and let it settle you.
We were not built to live entirely indoors, under screens, at full speed, seven days a week. Some of what wears us down is not a deficiency of anything you can buy. It is a deficiency of rest, and of time under the open sky.
Why a week of this
Time in nature is one of the better-studied simple things for stress. Unhurried time outdoors is associated with lower stress hormones, lower blood pressure, calmer mood, and better sleep. Solid You do not need a forest. A park, a backyard, or a sunny bench will do.
One thing a day
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.Psalm 19:1
The first thing God called holy was not a place or a person. It was rest. This challenge is really about remembering that you are a creature, beloved, allowed to rest, invited to look up. Take the week. Let it do its quiet work.
Rak Chazak, Friend.
